
Water Bottles
Participants should bring a reusable water bottle to VBS, labeled with full name.
Water refills will be available throughout VBS day.
Personal Items
PLEASE Do Not bring cell phones, electronics, valuables, or “fidget toys” to VBS.
VBS is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged valuables.
Sunscreen
Participants should apply sunscreen before arriving at VBS (for outdoor games).
Clothing
Participants should wear appropriate clothing, including sneakers.
Clothing should be loose-fitting to allow for active play.
Participants will make crafts and may get art materials on clothing.
Weather
If the forecast includes extreme heat, rain, or other risky weather, Games will be held indoors. We will watch the weather conditions closely!
Food
VBS is a nut-free program.
Please Do Not send children with peanut butter, nuts or nut products.
NOTE: Participants with food allergies should bring their own snacks.
Medical Supervision
Participants will be supervised at all times during VBS.
All VBS participants and volunteers are expected to be:
Respectful, Responsible. Kind, and Safe
Consequences of serious offenses:
1st time: Verbal warning and apology if appropriate.
2nd time: “Time-out”, and apology if appropriate.
3rd time: Parent/Guardian is contacted with our request that the camper be removed from VBS for the remainder of the day.
If a pattern of repeated serious offenses occurs, the participant may be asked to discontinue VBS attendance for the remainder of the program.
Any act of grave and intentional physical violence or inappropriate or destructive language or behavior toward self, others or property will result in immediate expulsion from VBS for the remainder of the week.
