The Christmas Fair is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2025. The Christmas Fair features numerous activities, including a bake sale, vendor tables, and a Basket Raffle. You can locate information all of these items on this page by choosing the tab to the right. As our largest parish event, the Christmas Fair is a fantastic family outing for our parishioners, the town of Billerica, and surrounding areas. All proceeds from the Christmas Fair financially support the parish and enable us to continue our ministries throughout the year including the Ministry to the Homebound, the Easter Basket Project (delivering Easter Baskets to the elderly), and more. There are a variety of options available to assist with this year’s Christmas Fair. We invite you to take a look at these options by choosing the tab to the right - "Donor and Sponsor Information". On Friday, December 5th, Father McCormick Hall will be open so you can deliver fresh treats directly to the Bake Sale Table. We want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you in advance for your generosity. The Christmas Fair Committee deeply appreciates your kindness and we are very excited to host another great fair!

It's a Raffle Basket Bonanza! Please Contribute!!The Fair Committee is looking for your help to donate new and creative items to fill the raffle baskets that will be on display.Starting next weekend, November 8th and 9th as well as the following weekend, November 15th and 16th bins will be set up at the entrances of Saint Andrew and Saint Theresa churches to make it easier for you to drop off your raffle basket donations as you arrive for Mass.
Individual items for donation are welcome, such as baskets, gift cards, a bottle of wine, and food that is packaged and non-perishable.
Would you like to donate a completed raffle basket? Or donate items to be used in making a basket by our team of elves!
Either way, below are some ideas to help jumpstart your creativity.
This is certainly not a complete list, so please feel free to get inspired by your own vision for a raffle basket.
Fore the Golfer - could include golf balls, tees, gloves, and golf towels.
Cuddle Up : You might feature hot cocoa mix, a couple of mugs, warm lounge socks, and a fleece blanket.
Crafts for Kids : may contain jewelry making, painting, or model assembly kits.
Outdoor Explorer – Binoculars, trail guides, sunglasses, sunscreen.
Gardening – Garden gloves, knee pads, garden tools (trowel, etc.), gift cards.
Fishing – Tackle kit, fishing lures, fishing hooks, gift card for bait.
Sewing – Sewing Scissors, measuring tape, pin cushion, pins, material, gift card.
Kitchen - crockpot, slow-cooker cook book, pot-holders, cutting board, knife set.
Home Keep Up – Small laundry basket, trash bags, home cleaning supplies.
Relax and Refresh – candle, wine, books, reading light, throw blanket.
The ideas are endless! The Fair Committee thanks you for your generosity!

Donors and SponorsThere are many ways you can support our Christmas Fair!
- Donating gift cards/certificates and/or products to include in various raffle baskets
- Donating themed gift baskets such as a “gardener's basket”, a “movie night basket” or a “golfer’s basket”
- Donating services and/or supplies for the Christmas Fair such as handcrafting an item for the Saint Matthew Table or baking a delicious treat for the Bake Sale Table
- Becoming an official Christmas Fair Sponsor with a cash donation to underwrite the costs of the Fair, such as printing, flyers, signs, and other supplies.
- All monetary donations will be publicly acknowledged, and we ask that checks be made out to Saint Matthew the Evangelist Parish and include Christmas Fair Sponsor on the Memo line.

- Below are the four levels of sponsorship for your consideration:
- Santa’s Circle ($1,000 and above)

Are you crafty? Any donation you can give of hand-made items from our parishioners who like to knit, crochet, sew, craft, etc. would be greatly welcomed.
Donations may be dropped off at the parish office.
